Senior Project Manager Event (m/f/x)

Your Tasks

At Avantgarde, you’ll be independently responsible for managing the content and operations of projects and providing consulting services to high-profile clients. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who can inspire consumers and design and oversee holistic projects—whether digital, hybrid, or analog—in collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams.

• Together with a diverse team, you’ll design unique events—from small to large—and successfully execute them.
• You’ll serve as the first point of contact for clients as well as internal and external stakeholders, and you’ll be responsible for managing all contractors, suppliers, and external partners.
• You are well-versed in the event industry and have some experience with technology, sound, and lighting
• You manage teams of varying sizes (depending on the project) and actively drive things forward
• You maintain an overview of individual project requirements, milestones, and goals, ensure smooth communication, and keep track of all timelines at all times
• You will draft presentations, proposals, and cost estimates; manage budget planning for ongoing projects; and prepare final reports and evaluations

Your Profile

• You have a college degree in communications, marketing, event management, or a related field
• You have several years of professional experience in event and project management, as well as in managing a team of at least 3–4 employees
• You have a structured and precise approach to work, strategic thinking skills, and strong analytical abilities.
• You are communicative and positive, with a confident and engaging demeanor, as well as a high degree of independence and initiative.
• You are outgoing and professional, with a talent for communication and organization, and are always solution- and customer-oriented.
• You keep a cool head even under high time pressure and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and teamwork
• You are fluent in German, have a good command of English, and are proficient in MS Office programs
