Senior New Business Manager (m/f/x)

YOUR TASKS

As Senior New Business Manager (m/f/x) you will be a key driver of business development within the agency and responsible for winning potential clients through lead generation. At the same time, you will nurture existing client and industry partnerships to maintain relationships with the wider AVANTGARDE network. 
  • You liaise closely with the management and the New Business team, develop new customer strategies and ensure their implementation 
  • You identify potential customers and gather insights to understand their way of working, potential challenges or concerns
  • You manage and optimise projects for existing and new customers in the areas of experience, campaign & communication 
  • You are responsible for coordinating all processes for new customer projects and act as an interface between customers and the internal project team (consulting, creation, production)
  • You develop target group-oriented offers in a team and present pitches/campaigns/concepts to the client 
  • You negotiate framework agreements in consultation with management, manage client/project budgets and assist in responding to RFPs 
  • You conduct market and competitive analyses to adjust strategies and follow up on leads 
  • You manage an insightful database with up-to-date contact information (in compliance with GDPR regulations) 
  • You contribute to the agency's references and ensure they represent the AVANTGARDE brand as an industry thought leader 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a degree with a focus on marketing, communication or a comparable qualification
  • You have at least six years of professional experience in account management/business development at an agency/consultancy and ideally have contacts in the experience economy
  • You have a high level of expertise in consulting/sales negotiation and are able to build relationships quickly
  • You can lead internally to coordinate different agency trades
  • You understand the principles of agency profitability, including potential clients and industries 
  • You have a structured, independent way of working, a strong hands-on mentality and strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team
  • You have a strong passion for brand experience, a self-confident demeanour and effective assertiveness along the sales funnel
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
