Project Manager Participant Management IT/Technology (m/f/x)

As Project Manager Participant Management IT/Technology (m/f/x) you are responsible for the planning and implementation of analog, virtual and hybrid events with a focus on the technical implementation of participant management. You are in direct contact with customers and are responsible for their proactive and competent support. You plan events and set up event-specific participant management systems, calculate costs and monitor budgets. Finally, you accompany events on-site.   • You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and following up on analog, virtual, and hybrid events
  • You advise customers and end customers adequately on the individual technical implementation of participant management
  • You program the guest management tool and apps according to customer needs 
  • You are responsible for the process definition of the customer journey, the connection of apps/tools and the maintenance of the systems
  • You further develop existing systems, research and test new tools
  • You communicate individual project requirements, milestones and goals to stakeholders and keep track of all timings at all times
  • You calculate budgets for the technical subareas and ensure that they are adhered to 
  • You are the interface in the team for all technical issues in the area of guest management (tools and hardware) 
  • You are responsible for the assignment, control and negotiation of service providers 
  • You supervise the participant check-in on event and ensure its smooth running
  • You create presentations, offers and cost calculations and support pitches 


  • You have completed an apprenticeship or a degree (preferably in media informatics, computer science or event management, marketing, etc.)
  • You can look back on professional experience at an agency and/or company in a comparable field of activity
  • You have good knowledge in the field of attendee management and sound knowledge in the use and programming of guest management tools 
  • You have a structured, solution-oriented way of working, even under time pressure, as well as a high degree of initiative, personal responsibility and the ability to work as part of a team
  • You have a convincing appearance and are willing to travel
  • You are eloquent, enthusiastic, have a hands-on mentality, enjoy customer contact and communicate with all stakeholders at eye level
  • You have a strong service orientation and very good written and spoken English skills 
  • You have a sound knowledge of MS Office products 
  • Knowledge of Ventari or a comparable tool as well as common programming languages (HTML, C, C++, Java) are an advantage
